Harpsichord course


This course is divided into two levels. One for beginners and another for participants of a more advanced level.

At the beginner level the basic techniques of initiation to the study of the harpsichord will be studies, emphasising especially in the technique of the historical touch. Students will also be introduced to the historically well-documented interpretation based on the use of original instruments and in confrontation with historical treaties that refer to the interpretation and uses of musical practice in their Time.

For the advanced level, ws will deepen in the study and analysis of the works proposed by the students. Knowledge will also be expanded in relation to the Treaties specialising in instrumental interpretation.

  • Advanced:

Music of François Couperin, Jean Philippe Rameau, Louis Couperin, etc..; Girolamo Frescobaldi, Bernardo Pasquini, Alessandro Scarlatti, Domenico Scarlatti, etc…; Johann Sebastian Bach, C.P.E. Bach, etc…, Antonio de Cabezon, José de Nebra, Francisco Correa, etc…,
