The instability of the tuning of the old instruments (harpsichords and positive organs) makes necessary its tuning practically a daily necesity. This instability is accentuated by the constant transport of these instruments to places that are not the usual classroom, since they are needed for other activities and auditions of other specialties.
Taking into account, on the other hand, that the tuning of the instrument itself will be a necessary and everyday activity in the professional activity of the student, it is essential that the students learn as soon as possible and practice constantly, with a double objective: To develop the habit and the ear to tune the instrument in an efficient and fast way (while practicing the subject of tuning and temperament), and to keep the instruments ready for classes and essays.
